~ Our Breeding Philosophy ~

We do not breed indiscriminately or irresponsibly.  in fact, we only breed once or twice per year.  our focus is always on Health, Temperament,  and Conformation.  we do not breed to sell puppies.  we do not breed to make a profit from those puppies we do place in loving, approved, companion, homes.  When we do breed it is solely to improve the breed as outlined in the AKC Standard for Brussels Griffons. We breed to show ~ and spay/neuter those that do not meet the breed standard before placing them in their new homes.

Our Griffons are eye
CERF'd before we consider whether or not they will join our breeding program.  We continue to eye CERF our Griffons and their offspring as they mature and age.

We welcome you to
contact us if you have questions about this sensitive, quizzical, entertaining, and loving breed.

Please help us protect our breed by dealing only with
members of the
AKC Parent club for Brussels Griffons:

- American Brussels Griffon Association -

Membership in this club is dependant upon many requirements
including the signing of a strict
 Ethics in Breeding Agreement
*.
*also referred to as 'Guidelines For Responsible Practices'.

Our members are dedicated to preserving our
beloved breed and to breeding solely to improve it.

We vehemently oppose those who participate in and/or support
the mass production of dogs in large quantities for sale to
pet stores, wholesalers, brokers, auctions.  These individuals are
 often referred to as: "
Puppy Mills or Puppy Millers."

We are also opposed to those who produce poorly bred puppies in
their backyards for sale to the general public.  These individuals
are often referred to as "Backyard Breeders" who breed for profit
rather than with the goal of improving their breed through careful,
well thought-out breeding programs.
